Before your first connection

A few things to know.

When does the 24-hour trial start?

After a signed-in account successfully connects a physical supported phone. Installing, registering, setup checks and map preview do not start the clock. Trials are limited by account and device eligibility.

Do I need to run a server?

The repaired Windows build starts its local account service automatically. Accounts and entitlements are stored on your PC. A central hosted service is required before commercial subscriptions can be sold publicly.

What if a connection fails?

Use Devices → Check connection. Check USB authorization, the unlocked phone and your cable. For account errors, use Help → Retry service. Help also exports redacted diagnostics.

What has been physically tested?

An earlier build received iPhone connection, location update and reset acknowledgements. The repaired build needs a fresh phone check. Android has automated protocol tests; a physical Android phone has not been tested yet.

How can I contact support?

The public support contact is being finalized. Paid subscriptions will remain closed until contact details and purchase policies are published. Do not post passwords, payment keys or device identifiers publicly.
